Gradient Blue was founded in 2003 as a web technology consultancy. We offer software development consulting services from initial project analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Gradient Blue focuses on the unique needs of the non-profit sector. We are committed to using technology to address your business requirements, so you can focus on your mission. We have helped match people with benefits, helped educate expectant mothers, assisted State Health Insurance Information and Assistance Programs (SHIPs) in counseling their Medicare beneficiaries and even done our part to help decipher the nation’s health care insurance system for the public.

Under the direction of the National Council on Aging and the National Center for Benefits Outreach and Enrollment, Gradient Blue created a Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) reporting tool to help track the number of Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) and Medicare Savings Program (MSP) applications submitted by states.  Since the grant began, states have submitted applications with a total value of benefits reaching nearly $400 million.
